What Choice Do I Have?

What Must I Do To Be Saved?

What Is God's Plan For Me?

These are all very important questions and are ones that many people want answered.  God has provided us with easy access to the answers of these questions and many more with His word - the Bible.  Life is not as complicated as we sometimes think that it is - if we have faith in  God to guide us in our daily lives.

There are only two roads in life -  and each of us must choose which one we will travel.

One leads to God and everlasting life, the other leads to destruction.

None of us will be able to say that we deserve eternal life because we were a good person.  We cannot earn, demand or buy our salvation in any way.  There is only one way we can be saved and live an eternal life of joy with God.

Contrary to popular belief - there is only one way to God.

"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.'" (John 14:6).

And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)

Few will heed the call from God.

"Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it."  (Matthew 7:13)

God calls - but we have to accept the free gift of eternal life that He offers.

"Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able."
(Luke 13:24)

He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.  (Mark 16:16)

We all deserve to die because we have all sinned against God.  But God has provided for us in that if we wish to be saved from eternal condemnation all we have to do is accept the FREE gift of eternal life from Him.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 6:23

8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- 9 not by works, so that no-one can boast.  10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
(Ephesians 2:4-10)

There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus.  (Rom 8:1)

Just as a sheepherder diligently watches over his cherished sheep and protects them as he guides them along the rugged path, Jesus is our shepherd and does the same for us - if we will let Him.

Jesus has a plan for each and every one of us and He wants to give us the best of everything.  We, with our limited wisdom, often think we know what is best for us rather than trusting in almighty God.

During our journey with Christ we will fall and and sometimes even fail.  But it is our faith in Christ that He will pick us up and the love of Christ which carries us in times of need that gives us the hope to journey onward and reach the goal of salvation in Him.

The graph shows that on our journey we will have spiritual ups and downs in our life but the overall progress, through our belief in Christ and hope of salvation, brings us closer to glorification in Christ.
