Reference Notes

It is impossible to lie to God.  He knows what we think, say and feel at any given moment.  God knows our heart, motive and mindset at all times and in all things.

God sees our life as movie that He has already watched.  He knows what we think - what we will say and what we are going to do and He knew all of this even before we were born!

God knows our motives for whatever we ask - even before we ask it so then why do we ask God for help?  Just as we sometimes know what our children are going to ask before they speak, God knows what we are going to ask.  God does not need us to ask anything since He knows all things but we ask God as a sign of respect and reverence - just as our children ask our permission.

Outward appearances can fool man but God knows our hearts and judges us accordingly.  We can go through the outward righteous motions but have evil motives in our heart just as people in the old days had when they crucified Jesus.  If we do something for God let us do it with a righteous heart.

For where your treasure is there will your heart be also.  (Luke 12:34)

For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in His glory, and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.   (Luke 9:26)
